Archive like a Co-Founder: Bryce Krzenski

For as long as I can remember, "collect memories, not things" has been my motto. However, finding a way to celebrate and reflect on those memories has been a challenge.

Opening a blank journal and filling it with my feelings has never felt natural. With the archive, I am able to plan and curate my weeks/months and when it comes time to use the moments under the sun and archives page, I can flip back and see the memories I collected over each chapter. The ice is already broken- so to speak and it opens the door to reflection.
I have to admit, the reflection part is still new to me, but I am excited and enjoying the process and I can’t wait for my future self to look back on all I am learning and experiencing.
Besides planning my day to day and reflecting on moments, what I find most helpful about the archive is how flexible it is. What I feel makes the archive truly unique is the amount of space purposely left blank. I love filling out the table of contents with the highlights and intentions of each chapter, I love adding titles to the untitled lists on the monthly pages and I love putting a quote from my weekly reading in the blank box on the weekly pages.
The archive is truly a canvas for planning and reflection. Each day is different and each chapter is different, but I love how the archive adapts to my lifestyle and gives me a place to hold my most special moments.
And when a moment is not able to be described with words, I love being able to place an image on a day or in the moments under the sun page. I’m a visual learner and simply looking at an image can bring me back to the sensory experience of a memory. Collecting moments to capture in the reflection page at the end of each month is always a heart warming, healing and emotional experience.

Other ways the Archive fits into my everyday:
- Planning my Pilates classes
- Time management between my career in healthcare and life as a founder, storyteller, friend, wife, daughter
- Museboarding our home renovation
- A special place for quotes from books to live
